Thank You Marketers for Rewarding Us with “Best Mobile Advertising Technology” at the Marketers Choice Awards
It was an exciting evening for Millennial Media at the inaugural Marketers Choice Awards Gala held in New York City on November 11. Hosted by the Industry Index and Advertising Week, the event marked the launch of DMR’s Industry Index, which allows advertisers to quickly find the best-of-breed technology solutions through objective rankings supplied by marketers.
While it was great to be nominated with other vendors — like Rocket Fuel, TapAd, Pandora, Shazam and Tapjoy — the icing on the cake was winning the award for Best Mobile Advertising Technology.
Why is this important to us? As competition in mobile increases, and the number of technology providers grows, we know marketers have choices. Enter: The Industry Index, an objective snapshot of how the marketplace values digital advertising technologies to help marketers stay ahead of the competition. It’s a bit like Yelp for ad tech. With hundreds of marketer reviews posted throughout the year, this unique resource is able to curate an industry-wide perspective of which companies are truly pushing the needle.
It was an honor to accept our award on behalf of the Millennial Media team at this event. Our recognition as the winner for the Mobile Advertising Technology of 2014 category was an incredible acknowledgment, not only for being chosen as the winner, but also for being considered among five other highly ranked nominees and friends, who are all very strong players in the mobile ad tech space.
