NEXAGE launches PhoneCast ASP Hosted Mobile TV and Video Service with first Customers
PhoneCast ASP Platform will be used by Wireless TV & Studios and Universal Theater to launch their Off-Deck Mobile TV service direct to mobile subscribers
Bellevue — May 15, 2006: NEXAGE, Inc. (http://www.nexage.com), a leading wireless and multimedia software and services company, announced the launch of the PhoneCast ASP, a Hosted Mobile TV & Video service for media companies and content providers. The complete PhoneCast solution allows subscribers to view TV, live events and sportscasts, and video on demand content on their mobile phones globally.

Jupiter Research’s latest study on wireless TV found that 41 percent of US mobile phone users are interested in watching video on their handsets, and according to Strategy Analytics, mobile video content is projected to become a $4.5 billion business by 2008.
